     Bell Buckle, Tennessee (pop. 500 and change) is an historic railroad village of preserved and restored Victorian homes and churches, nestled among the hills, farmland and walking horse country of Bedford County, Tennessee. Established in 1852, Bell Buckle is now a thriving arts community with world-renowned painters, writers, sculptors, musicians, jewelry makers, quilters, mosaic artists-- even the Poet Laureate of Tennessee! Full of charming rows of eclectic shops, local eateries-- including the world-famous Bell Buckle Cafe-- and colorful down-home festivals, Bell Buckle is also the home of The Webb School, a world-renowned college preparatory boarding and day school and is an integral part of the history of this unique town.
 

    Only about an hour from Nashville, Bell Buckle is a favorite day trip destination for stressed-out city dwellers who want to slow the pace down and take a step back in time. But it's not always a sleepy little town--the annual RC Cola and Moon Pie Festival in June and the Webb School/Main Street Craft Show in the fall draw well over 100,000 visitors to the tiny community.
